newbie studio

hi everyone,
this is my first post here.
I'm a sound designer and composer in NYC. I'm soon, going to start my own studio. I'm sure i'll be on this board often.
just wondering if anyone out there has tried the mackie dxb. i've heard some mixed messages and i cant find one in new york to look at. Im setting up a post production/recording studio and i'm between the dxb, the sony r100 and the yamaha dm2000.
any advice?
