water-based acrylic sealant?

hi,

the only thing i can get here in croatia (middle europe) is stuff like water-based acrylic sealant and silicone based sealant and maybe some rubber based sealant

is there a way i can test and see if one of theese works?

what should i look for? that its highly bendable? or do acoustic sealants have special STC ratings?

there is a company here called KNAUF http://www.knaufdrywall.co.uk
and i can get almost any product from them

they show in their manual, that they seal the gaps with some sort of gypsum/lime/glue composite.. called uniflott .. should i use that?
