:D Great ! So here are the final consideration :

1. Two slot resonator on angled wall tuned from 15-500 lowmid
2. Remaining walls with direct insulation and finished with sheetrock.

 can i build this?

1. Two slot resonator on angled wall tuned from 15-500 lowmid
Two angled slot resonators tuned from 150hz - 500hz
2. Remaining walls with direct insulation and finished with sheetrock.
No - remaining walls have insulation exposed and covered in cloth.

Great....... hope i will complete it soon.... well by such combination of construction i will get a good isolation or not? i think the floor and ceiling will look after the sound proofing.

Laura- this is purely internal acoustic treatment - it will have no effect on sound isolation - that's an entirely different story.

Slot resonator wall....

Thanks. I have calculated and tuned slot resonator like this for 150Hz-500hz :

Slat size for all =6x1" Wall (Angled) depth is: 76.2 to 304.8 mm

150hz-256hz : 6mm Slot Width / 75 mm Slat Depth
252hz-403hz : 12mm Slot Width / 50 mm Slat Depth
398hz-568hz : 18mm Slot Width / 25 mm Slat Depth

I have one question that i have to to covered whole wall with this is recursive manner or just once? John do you think this calculation is fine?

I haven't checked it but those figures look correct to me. Yes you just repeat the sequence.

hi john,

tryto seprate them today although it will involves removing insulation from certain sides but never mind (ok). I already have a sheetrock ceiling and insulation inside about 75-100mm. Can i cover it with cloth or just color it (reflective one)
