Nah. I don't have a big enough vehicle for ten bundles of the stuff. I don't know what shipping will run from one of the online guys but if I can get it locally I can make multiple trips. Boston is too far. It would have to be way cheap before I'd do that drive twice.

You know, Glenn, you do get me thinking. I have a friend that goes to the Boston area weekly and he has a minivan...hmmm.
More research. I just got back from checking Home Cheapo (no can do) and the two independent building supply places right nearby. They are going to let me know Monday. Shipping from ATS runs just over $20/bundle putting the bundle price around $95. YIKES!
The house brand is looking better all the time. We'll see what my insulation contractor friend can do.
I've also looked at fabric. The Ben Franklin has felt for $3/yd and remnant plain cloth for $2/yd. I don't imagine it's fire rated but in this application that's a lower priority - I won't be burning candles in there or bringing in bands and my guitar playing isn't all that fiery. As long as I don't record any torch songs...

There's a number of recipes for treating the cloth and it's really best to do so...

Re: Superchunk sizes and symmetry questions.
So it turns out that none of the local "consumer" supply houses can get OC703 but I got a referral to a commercial joint (Kamco). 2'X4'X2" panels in bags of 12 for $75. Pretty fair. (4" is made to order by OC and could take a month so I'll just double up.) I ordered five bags and they'll be here next Monday. The adventure begins...
