Acoustic Plaster- has anyone used it?

I have noticed some Acoustic Plaster materials. Sonaspray. BASWA. STO. I would be very interested to hear of any experiences anyone has had with any of these products.
Domestic rooms, Pubs, even Music venues here have very low ceilings. 8 feet is typical. This makes them difficult to treat acoustically, expecially if visuals are also important.
These plasters look like or better than conventional plaster IMHO.
They would be a godsend if they work well sonically.
