Having been inspired by all the great ideas being discussed here, I decided to take a run at designing my space. This is in one corner of my basement. The finished ceiling height will be 94". Floor and sound control materials are yet to be decided. So whaddya think? Rip it up and tear it apart... I love watching you guys work your magic.

That looks fine mate - my only suggestion would be to have the door to the control room enter from the hallway to the bathroom as in your control room those rear walls will have to be treated heavily with absorption and moving the door will help with that.
