Hi David,

What do you consider a "good price" range?

Hi,

So, We can start with a 400$ for each speaker?

Or, Are some DIY schematics?

What you think?

Thanks a lot for your attention.

Mastering typically requires very accurate full range speakers capable of solid reproduction below 40 Hz. So $400 each is a bit tight for mastering speakers, but we'll see what we can do.

To get enough performance in this price range I recommend a 2-way, dual midbass kit with high excursion 6.5" or 7" drivers.

Here are a few sites with some models to consider:

Usher U-2.5
Hiquphon - Mentor6

Borealis - North D28 Project

the 626's are no good. they just don't "have it". just like the 1029a's are not "real" genelecs.
