hi guys,
i'm brand new to this site. i think i'm going to be here a lot, because it's exactly what i'm interested in.

what immediately struck me is that people who post here put really elaborate schematic pictures up. i've never seen anything like it! someone (i think it was a moderator) had a picture of some wood studs, and the wood had a grain design to it.

it's pretty darn inspiring actually. makes me want to up my newsgroup game.

there was a studio layout post here, it was amazing. something that included a kitchen in the upper right hand corner of the layout. it was so ingenious how the rooms interlocked together. compeletely brillant layout, and would be next to impossible to describe using just text.

That would be a design by our esteemed host Mr. John Sayers.
