Acoustic Spray On Coating

Hello
A local club is looking for fix up their acoustics. It is a live performance venue and the place is way too acoustically lively, much of it due to all the open ripped steel decking from the exposed ceiling. I can't even walk in the place if there is more than 10 people in the building talking due to the annoying acoustics.
I saw a spray on coating at a trade show in the USA years ago that was perfect for this purpose. It was not Cellulose, but like a porous plastic-like material. I remember all the specs were impressive, and it could go on fairly thick if required. I can't remember the brand of type of material, and Google is not helping me find it again either. Anyone? Thanks. . .
