acoustimetal perforated metal panels?

hi fellas-
anyone have any experience with this or similar?

according to the attached charts one of these panels with 1 inch backing has similar a NRC as 2" 703, just slightly less mids and much better bass.

perforated metal panels are very much useful and have some nice aesthetics in the right situation. you can couple those with Chris Whealy's exceptional Porous Absorber calculator to find the proper perforation ratio and sizing.

They are very useful in high traffic areas in public buildings etc. I wish architects used them more than they do as I find public buildings have dreadful acoustics.
