hi.

i would build a small home-studio behind my house, and i was asking myself, which kind of acoustic threatment would be effective for a good sound quality of my recording room.

i've red (in book about acoustic and on the net) about diffusors, especially QRD Diffusors.

my question is, if someone has got good experiences using this sort of diffusors and if it's advisable for my project, to construct and use them.

thanks, daniel. :)

(excuse me for my english, but it's hard to write in a foreign language)

They work very well in the right applications.

Tell us more about your rooms. Sizes, shapes, acoustic treatment already there. This will help us tell if they are good for you.

hi!

maybe it can be sounds stupid, but i have to begin to build the studio.
the only thing i can do, is to plan how it could be .. :D

approximately the live room will be 3,5m x 3m x 2,5m; the walls will be of concrete (35cm).

i was planning to create a second room with bass traps at the corner and one-twodimensional QRD diffusors at the walls.

i will attach an image of how my home_studio will be.

thanks for your reply, daniel.
