I've been doing Live speech recording and Live sound mixing for a good 10 years and starting to get into real Recording now ). I have a ? In regards to gear. As most of the studios I see here use mixers not just a PC. To do all the EQ. And Mixing functions. What are the negatives and positives of doing everything PC oriented vs With Mixers limiters EQs etc. just trying to plan how much space I need to account for for A mixer if I decide to use one and other gear. And all the acompanying wiring for a LR and CR / Vocal tracking
