tuning a room with helmholtz resonators?

hi.
have a small home studio room.
room dimensions:
W: 7'-7"
L: 15'-1"
clg: varies 7'-3" to 7'-7"(short dim)
one long wall field stone, floor to clg. with 48" door opening relatively centered.
other 3 drywall with windows across entire walls.
sill 37".
windows:(8 total. 4 on long wall, 2 each on sides) H 38" W 36"
approx 4" between each window.
clg drywall.
floor concrete.
i've attached rough floor plan.
hear pretty big bump around low musical D.
that was worst offender, at least.
would like to control it.
read about helmholtz resonators.
not sure how to go about making one specifically for those freq.'s.
not concerned with isolation, just a more balanced monitoring environment.
would like to not have permanent structure if possible.
have decent carpentry skills.
budget is whatever, from what i've read build cost is reasonable.
thanks...
