Sorry, but a few rookie questions

Hi, everyone. This is my very first post on this friggin' AWESOME website. I'm moving into a newly purchased house and am researching info for a studio build. Please forgive me for asking such stupid questions but I found some of Sayer's terminology difficult to understand since he is astralian. Anyway, here goes...
1) Are you guys using the 703 fiber boards for inside the walls (for the purpose of room isolation) or are you hanging it on the walls in your control rooms or main recording rooms for the purpose of "tuning" the room?
2) In regards to the rubber square pucks, do you just stack two on top each other and then rest the floor platform on top of them without and adhesive ANYWHERE?
