Hello:

I remember someone using drawing software, sort of visio like, except free. It might have been 'demo' free, with it sticking the name of the software on any image it created.

Does anyone know what I'm talking about ?

Maybe you are thinking of smartdraw - you can run a trial copy and it puts some trial text in the image. Most of the images here are done with smartdraw

Also - check out Sketchup - that program is the bomb

Note: Visio and Better Homes 6.0 are not Mac compatible, however http://www.virtus.com used to be free for the Mac.

Just make sure if you get one of these that it has the capability to draw detailed construction diagrams. I bought Sierra Home Architect and you can't draw different types of wall contruction like we discuss here. One of those "drawing" programs is probably better for that.
