you can thank Slackmaster for us being back online - it's wierd isn't it - we got hit twicw yesterday - the first attack wiped three forums, the second attack wiped the whole site and replaced the front page.

the interesting thing is the number of guests. The admin panel shows that most of the guests were all from the same IP address which when I whoisit? comes back as this
OrgName: Microsoft Corp
OrgID: MSFT
Address: One Microsoft Way
City: Redmond
StateProv: WA
PostalCode: 98052
Country: US

NetRange: 207.46.0.0 - 207.46.255.255
CIDR: 207.46.0.0/16
NetName: MICROSOFT-GLOBAL-NET
NetHandle: NET-207-46-0-0-1
Parent: NET-207-0-0-0-0
NetType: Direct Assignment
NameServer: NS1.MSFT.NET
interesting

cheers
john

They could have a proxy that the person was using. The guy DID hack your site, so why not a Microsoft server too? :)

It might have been EASIER for him to hack a MS server come to think of it! :D

John,

Ever since the crash I see four copies of everyones attachments. Is it just me? I'm using netscape 7.2 and safari on a Mac, OS-X (happens with both)

Yeah you're right...in the forums that were originally hosed.

I'll look and see if there's not an easy way for me to fix this.

Hey, I'm impressed - problem all gone.

BTW, I like your animation - but, isn't the idea to turn the suck knob down?

I think it needs a little "11" in the lower right corner... ;-)
