Dimmers for lighting

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Dimmers for lighting

Post by gdgross »

I am possibly interested in obtaining some dimmers for my studio lights if I can find some quiet, non-solid state dimmers. I have played in places with light dimmers and they generally wreak havoc with guitar pickups due to all the RFI the spew out.

Does someone make shielded light dimmers, or perhaps some kind of autotransformer style dimmer?

Thanks!

There are a lot of threads that show up when you use "dimmer" as a search keyword.
