Is this normal?
The tube says 2-7days - seems a long time especially if you need to have the first seam dry to move onto the next step of your project!!
I put some down last night and this morning its basically as wet as it was 12 hours ago!!

You didn't mention what brand of caulk you're using... (I sure hope it's not LePage! )

In short, I will say that the fact that it's not drying right away means you probably got the right stuff. That's part of what makes it good -- it never fully dries/hardens like regular stuff, which means it also won't shrink and crack like regular stuff (and that's what you need to not happen).

It's surprising seeing all the forums about people having problem applying the stuff and making a real mess. Seemed easy to me, just cut the tip to the right size, gun it into the gap and run the finger along it to smooth it out and press it into the hole.

No problems - will leave it for a few days to dry anyway.

'Nuther thing; if you can, leave a window open and a fan on - air circulation will help shorten the time somewhat... Steve
