Drywall density

I can find density information almost anywhere for plywood, but I can't find anything for MDF or drywall. I know I've been looking in the wrong place, but I can't find anything.

I'm hoping to build some panel traps into the walls of the studio, but city fire code requires that the walls be covered with drywall. I am trying to hide as much acoustic treatment in the walls as I can, especially the bass trapping since it takes up so much space. I have a back wall that is about 9" thick that I could build panel traps into if I could find the correct information.

Any help? Designs?

Thanks all,
Scott :)

Guys, glad this came up; I need to change the glass values to more accurate values (the 3x figure was based on previous info from Eric, I probably didn't catch the part about PRETENDING it was 3x as dense as gypsum so no one would UNDER-size glass; it's actually denser - check the link again...
