How to Soffit ?

What's up everybody, My name is Ozzie I use to post questions and bug the hell out of Steve a while back when I was building my bigger studio but plans changed when I decided to start a business and now my brother kick me out of my location. So I back to the drawing board, my little brother is now getting into music and I wanted to put my studio in his room . I have been trying to soffit my 20/20bas events for the last week but all that reading is getting me confuse so I decided to post a few question and a few pictures.
I don't understand all that math stuff about the hieght of the ceiling to the ear to the desk, back around and etc...
The room is 9'-5" (w) x 12' (L) x 8'-1" (h)
I put the walls at a 30 degree
I put the monitor stands at 42" (H) thats including the rubber pads and put them dead smack in the center of the walls evenly with out touching the frame.
Questions:
Do I have to build a box around the monitors? I seen some pictures with out them.
Do I have to put baffles at the bottom or can I just fill the area with insulation?
Do I have to build a bass traps at bottom or can I just put a big pieace of mdf with a lttle air gap?
Will the window cause problems after I seal it?
will the hurricane clips that are srewed to the ceiling and frame cause problems?
will the MDF and the monitor stands cause problems if they touch the house walls?
If I build a desk that is connected the soffit will it cause any problems?
the yellow lines in the picture is where some studs will go.
I will be seating about 3 1/2 to 4' way from the soffit if that helps you anwer some of my question.
Thank You
Ozzie
