Concrete Floor in control room?

Hi

I am building a new studio control room. There are no parallel surfaces, including the ceiling which is canted. It has a polished concrete floor. Is it bad for a control room floor to be conrete? Is it absolutely necessary to put wood flooring over top? It would be great to not spend the money on the wood materials and installation. Is conrete ever preferable? Is it an absolute No No?

Opinions appreciated.

No it's no no no :D
Some claim they prefer the wood sound (maybe more in tracking rooms)
It's all about reflections at the mixspot and no matter wood or concrete, you gotta deal with them. In a stereo setup the desk is inbetween anyway.
