Hello all.
First post here, and I must must commend y'all on the wealth of knowledge and advice offered. I'm building a studio, and this is just what I needed.
I will ask a simple question first. Is anyone here familiar with tannoy ardens? (15" concentrics) Are they a good contender for flush mounting?

I've heard HPD385s flush-mounted in a couple of studios and both sounded beautiful.

Do you own them yet or looking to buy? You do know that the surrounds rot and need to be replaced about every 15-20 years? A recone costs about £100 from Lockwood Audio in London. They did a superb job on my HPD315s.
