Tommy, welcome; first, please turn OFF the caps lock key; it's hard to read and causes people to either yell at you or ignore you, neither of which works real well...
Second, yup; yer crazy

(a) quonset huts are nearly parabolic, which makes them hard to soundproof very easily and (b) if you don't care about that, they also tend to FOCUS sound to one point in the room (or one line through the room) neither of which makes things easy for getting balanced recordings.
If you don't care much about the soundproofing part, you might be able to build a different-shaped inner shell that gets you away from the focussing effect... Steve

I moved this from Design and deleted the other cross-post - cross-posting mainly just takes up more of John's and my time - please pick the most appropriate forum and ONLY post questions in one place. If it would be better in a different forum, we'll move it and leave a link so you don't get lost... Steve
