Studio Glasses

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Here is a link to some drawings that should help - they don't list angles, however - to minimise flutter John has found that you need a total of around 12 degrees of splay, or 6 degrees per glass. 6 degrees translates to 1 unit of offset for every 10 units of panel size. So, if you had 50 cm high glasses, they should be offset by 5 cm each.

If you don't have very much space between the two walls, it can make the glasses too close together for good isolation - in those cases, it's possibly better NOT to splay the glasses, and just use good absorption between the panes (surrounding the windows)
Soooo, when a Musician dies, do they hear the white noise at the end of the tunnel??!? Hmmmm...
