Question on speaker size for my control room .
What acceptable size speaker would be adequate for my control area .
I have been thinking of the KRK active speakers. Also are there some brands That are more susceptible to overheating or is there no concern , regarding flush mounted in the design that John Has drawn up for me.
Thanks

I've only heard mild temperature problems about the Mackie actives when soffited, nothing on KRK's - Bruce Valeriani (Blue Bear) last I looked was using the KRK V8's soffited, but he doesn't post much now (probably too busy making noise  )

Maybe someone else can chime in on this? Steve

Aloha,

I've have the Mackie's soffited and have run them all day without a problem. :D

Whichever brand you go with, be sure to have adequate ventilation.
