Firstly, great forum!
this is my first time posting here, but i have been reading for a while...
Here is my situation
i live in a group of units and want to keep noise levels down
so basically i thought of building a booth
or small room would be a good idea for recording Vocals and a 4x12 guitar cabinet,
so i just wanted to ask what sort of materials to use?
and what would ideal dimensions for such a booth be?
it couldnt be higher than 92inches
i really dont have dimensional restrictions besides height
And it would be free-standing, as im renting and couldnt build it into the current foundations.
ofcourse if you think this is a bad idea, then just say so,
any input is appreciated, thankyou.
and sorry if i havnt provided enough information
if you need more info i will provide it

This makes things more tricky, especially if you want to actually PUT IT BACK TOGETHER - here's how whisperroom does theirs; this is their "enhanced" version, which actually has fair isolation. The standard booths aren't too effective -

For decent isolation, you need to accomplish mass-air-mass construction that's dismountable. I've still not found a decent/reasonable way to do that... Steve
