thanxx all!

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

thank you for being such a resourcefull site!

I've been looking for ages to find some information about building studio's,
but this is all I need!

At this time, I have a studio inside a building with more studio's. the soundisolation is the worst you can imagine. for example: we have air conditioning troughout the whole building, carrying all music made in all the studio's.

In a few weeks we (my engineer and I) will be moving to another location,
so we have to start building our studio all over again.

The information this site contains should be enough to build a cool studio, but I have one question:

could you explain to me how I can build a vocal-cabine with a window?

(please don't mind my shitty english)

regards,
