Does it make sense to fill any space behind walls, due to being splayed, with hangers?

I keep finding myself <in the designing process> placing hangers everywhere I can fit 'em. Reason is, everything I read states that bass handling is a problem.

Sure, if it's deep enough to fit them - they can be placed parallel to walls too, so it wouldn't take too much space... Steve
