How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Got it looking nice. I am sure you kick yourself when you didnt run power to just under the location where your mix desk is.

Thanks... I really couldn't runt he electric under the floor... the floor is laminate over concrete.
There will be a 19" rack cabinet in from of that outlet so you wont see it... I'll post more pictures when the room is more 'complete'.

I worked with those KRK V8s for a couple of years so I'm used to them, the clarity of those speakers is 10 fold what I used to hear from them. And it's also important to note what you don't hear in the other rooms... I'm a few weeks from completion so I'll keep ya updated.
