I have a small shed situation that is 28 sq. ft. (5' x 5') with a 12 ft., peaked ceiling. All raw framed and ready to be finished off. I've been set up in there before in a makeshift way and, although being much like a cockpit, it is do-able. I have a laptop, small synth and ERIS 3.5 speakers. Does any one here have a similar situation? Can I get some pointers and tips? I have a bit of a background in audio, so I get the real basic stuff already. I'm looking for truly ingenious or space saving designs.

Hi. Please read the forum rules for posting (click here). You seem to be missing a couple of things! 
That said, a 25 square foot room is extremely tiny: about the size of a closet. The minimum recommended size for a critical listening room is 215 square feet.... Your room volume is about 300 cubic feet: the minimum recommended volume is 1,700 cubic feet. I really can't see this being usable. It would not even be much good as a vocal booth. The smallest studios I have ever designed have been around the 100 square foot mark, and they were very hard to design and treat. I can't even imagine what something a quarter that size would be. Your case is even worse, since the room is square, there's no modal support below about 40 Hz, and the Schroeder frequency is going to be well over 200 Hz, which implies that you will have serious modal issues across the entire low end of the spectrum.
I would strongly suggest that you should look for a larger room. I don't often say this to newcomers looking to do something with a small room, but this one is just no usable for any kind of serious work.

First, let me apologize for my obvious flagrant disregard for the rules. I'm usually not that much of an idiot. I blame allergies and cold medicine.

So, I guess I'll stop
with this room. it's really a shame, but I guess I could turn it into an arts/crafts room.
