I´ve read this board for several months and about 2 leaf systems, and NOT having 3 or 4 leafs... But i can´t seem to recall if it has been explained (the exact physics of it) why more leafs reduce your isolation. I know it has something to do with resonance, but can someone point me to a thread or just tell me straight up exactly what happens with the sound in multiple leaf constructions.. many thanks...
Do an experiment with small springs and weights (ball point pen springs, pennies. Set up the different systems and all you need is youur eyes to se the results.
ofcourse!!..=).. i´ve made that "experiment" a 1000 times... and it never hit me that you could apply it to this!.. the mind work in real wierd ways sometimes.. thanks for pointing it out...
