Treating the Tracking Room

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Treating the Tracking Room

Post by phyl »

Sorry if this seems like blatant cross posting, but my thread in the acoustics forum has had over 40 views and no responses.

I thought it was the best place to ask my question, but maybe not. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you read the before you post link? We do not rush into things, we things at our pleasure. You have posted for less than 24 hrs. You have at least three responses.

Yes I read the 'before you post' link, and yet I still made the mistake of oversizing my images. It happens. I corrected my post immediately.

I don't expect anyone to rush into a reply, I simply pointed out that 40 views and no answer might indicate I posted in the wrong place. I've learned to be very patient on this board, because the advice is always worth it.

You're right though, there are 4 responses total at the moment, but not a one addresses my questions. Did you have some ideas you'd like to share?

Think about it. How many views have you done here to learn/study/absorb information without posting any advice? Most people read and only post when they have good thought out suggestions. 40 views and no responses is not unusual.

Good Luck!

Yup... My thread has 14,331 views and 347 replies to date, which is a ratio of about 42:1. Plus, many/most of the replies on my thread are from me!
