emergency drywall screw question

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

emergency drywall screw question

Post by aschatzb »

hello,

The guys installing the drywall used a full schedule of screws on the first layer, even though I told them otherwise.

Do we pull the screws and mud the holes? Or are we better off leaving the screws?

I need to tell them something by tomorrow morning... Any quick advice would be very welcome:)

thanks,

andrew

Right; in fact, some local codes won't even LET you use half-schedule on ANY layer (Californicate :? )
Soooo, when a Musician dies, do they hear the white noise at the end of the tunnel??!? Hmmmm...
