Gobo construction
Okay campers, I need some advice: Gonna build some gobos out of MDF, about 6 foot high and about 30 inches wide, question is...da' footing. Since I'm an AUDIO engineer, not a construction engineer, how wide does the footing need to be? What is the least amount I can get by with without being dangerous? If you have a drawing of design idea's please throw 'em my way!

"how wide does the footing need to be? What is the least amount I can get by with without being dangerous?" - Depends on how drunk you are
But I'd keep it at LEAST 18" each side of center. Do you need these to go all the way to the floor? John posted a pic a while back of some custom made steel caster brackets that was pretty cool -
