Who's running things?

Post by peterbayley »

Hi recording nuts,

I just thought I'd let you know that if the forum is ever down, then it's MY fault and not John's. I live in Sydney and host his (this) web site from my second bedroom. John on the other hand, lives 1000Km away up the first mountain to see the Australian sun in the morning. I do various computery things and thoroughly enjoy it and I agreed to host John's site. Now the system that's running it (sitting purring at my feet as I type) is also my main development system - so now and then a stupid piece of code I am in the middle of writing will toast the machiine. For this, apologies - I'm only human (New Zealander, actually) but if this %$&^^* software I'm currently writing eventually does what it's meant to , then i will be able to buy a dedicated server and you guys can all run uninterrupted - until then - blame ME not John.

Peter
PS: Ani diFranco !!!

Peter -

Two things :

1st - A note of appreciation for holding this thing together (need any more bailing wire?)

2nd - Ani DiFranco rocks, doesn't she? I've seen her live twice, and both times I've been impressed with hey lyrics and her diversity of approach to music.

Errr... and a note of appreciation to John, too, while I'm at it... and Knightfly, too I suppose... :-)

- John
