Help me treat these rooms

Post by curtiswyant »

It's never until you get some good gear that you realize how crappy your room sounds, right? Well, I need some suggestions on what type of treatment/placement would be most beneficial in my "live" and "control" rooms (aka spare bedrooms). The only real problems I'm having are with drums but any improvement is a plus. Here are some pics...notice the sloped ceilings...good/bad? Thanks.

Besides all the good advice you'll get by reading the various posts in this forum, also see the Acoustics FAQ, second in the list on my Articles page:
