Design/placement ideas for a small bedroom studio

Post by chad n1 »

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting so i hope i get everything right. I am building a small studio to start recording myself and friends.
I am going to college to become a recording engineer :D, and have been loving it so far. But, i am wondering if anyone with more experience
has some input for maybe changing parts. if this isn't the right place ill post it on another thread
just let me know. As well i have put together a basic layout of my room in sketch-up so you can get an idea of what i have.
(sry i had to compress it because the file was to big. the black is foam as well as the tan behind my computer.
As well the thickness of the vocal booth is off as i a new to sketch-up and i am having a hard time getting things prefect.
As a side note, I don't have to worry about how loud i am as my neighbors aren't close enough to our house and I have carpet floors.
should i move my desk into my closet instead?
