this morning I went to a isolation materials company and the boss told me about cork panes for floating the floor under metal mesh and concrete slab. Anyone knows about it??
here are the specs:

I get nervous when I see things like 250Hz Vibration Absortion - that's pretty high for a studio -
you want a slab assembly that in it's whole is around a 10Hz center frequency.

but this means that under 250Hz has no absortion or it has a resonance in this frecuency. I don't undestand this spec quite well...I get nervous when I see things like 250Hz Vibration Absortion - that's pretty high for a studio -
It's take into account the concrete slab over it??? is the high density rockwool (150 kg/m3) better than cork??

Cork is a good isolator - and everything works where it's meant to work.
This product has been tested for use with machinery - but not for floating slabs.
So basically - if you want to go this route you're taking your chances...... without any data to back this up - neither I nor anyone else can guide you on how to proceed.
The mineral fiber has been tested and used sucessfully on elevated concrete slabs - so the answer is - so it's better in at least that respect.... other than that - who knows?
