Acoustic caulking isn't paintable right? so....

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

How are you guys finishing your walls? I understand that at the bottom, the baseboards would cover the caulk line, but what about between panels, and at the tops?

Am I missing something here?

Thanks
