jpeg files

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

jpeg files

Post by huddo »

Is there anyone who can tell me the best way to attach files( studio plans and details) ? Even when I've compressed the jpeg files, they're still too big. :? :? There are only four drawings I'd like to submit.

I believe the size limit is 150K, so they have to be smaller than that.

Make sure they're sized no greater than 700 pixels wide. One of the reasons it's limited to 150K is that many/most images that exceed 150K are too wide to be displayed properly on the forum.

You can usually "decrease the quality" of the JPEG, which allows the lossy compression algorithm to be more aggressive. Size vs. quality is the balancing act.

You may also host your images outside of the forum and "include" them in your posts, using the [img]http://urlforphotogoeshere[/img] tag.
