Get your "what mic?" frustration or "have you heard" out here. The language could get real okka in here mate.

I love this forum and how much y'all know about studio design, but do any of you know of a similar board dedicated to stage design?

Chippy,

What aspects are you specifically interested in and for what purpose?

ie: Are you wanting to build a stage or are you more interested in fitting a stage out. Is it for a community centre, a school, a church, etc.

If you can't find out anywhere else, go here.... http://www.pmiaudio.com/forums/index.php ......Rod, who is the moderator of the acoustics forum there has a background which may be of assistance so post your question there.

Other than that I'll see you around GN, but not by this username :D

So does anybody know of a website that has some simple plans for building a small stage/band riser just big enough to hold like a 4 0r 5 piece band?

I am throwing a party in my 3 car garage this september and will be having a few bands playing so I want to just get them like a foot or so off of the ground if I could to add to the whole band image ..haha

My brother built one many years ago that was a 2 section stage that slid together, then you could screw it together with clamps. But I never was one much for building anything.

I know it seems real simple, but I was just wondering if I could see any pics/scetches on the web to help steer my in the right direction, otherwise I guess I will just draw up the plans myself.

Thanks
