Hanging heavy theater curtains?

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Hanging heavy theater curtains?

Post by Minerst »

Does anyone know an inexpensive way to hang heavy theater curtains? I would prefer that they also be able to be drawn (NOT fixed in place, in other words), as well. If expensive tracking is the only way to go, would anyone know of a resource for used tracking?

I'm in the same situation. Not really curtains, but some carpet-like stuff that I'll be hanging these days.

There's a nice (non-destructive :) ) solution for hanging curtains. Basically, a collapsibe, spring-loaded shower rail, that doesn't require making holes in the walls...

What is tracking, btw?
