Pics of my studio (3 months later)

How thick should my walls be, should I float my floors (and if so, how), why is two leaf mass-air-mass design important, etc.

Well... I starting to reach the sound that I want. Each monitors sound different and my new Adam p22 are a bit harshy. But I try to attach the last test. It has no problem on low frecs but over 5000 Hz there were some marked peaks.

Cheers!

Sometimes there are so many metal bands rehearsing in the rooms next to the studio and I think there is a weak pont in the celing isolation. Rehearsal rooms has isolated boxes for coming in air flux but without any pipe or tube , but I think it does not work so well...
To take out the air there are isolatd boxes with a pipe to the street. So the sound flow out of the reheasal room and flow in the warehouse space and come in the studio celing.
Soon I'll try to add rockwool over my celing panels...

Isolation between Recording/control room are very good. But not perfect in Low frecs.

It looks really cool. I really like the floor! The couch matches perfectly too.

I usually cover the couch with a cloth, it was of my girlfriend's grandmother, and it has more than 20 years

 It looks so shiny for being more than 20 years old!

Hey I just notized you used an exterior metal door. How does that thing work for stopping sound? To save money I've decided to build all my doors and they seem to work great that way, plus I can paint them the same color as the room because I'm skinning them with drywall.

Metal door? I use 2 isolated doors between the studio and the warehouse and 2 isolated doors between control and recording rooms.
The coach is quite conserved

Can I ask what kind of floor is that?
I am redoing a space in my basement that looks like it's the same dimensions. Would you have any other info about your studio that may help me in my quest?

Thanks,
Keith
